There’s a reason ScribeAmerica has been named one of the best places to work, two years in a row. We work hard, stay curious, and never stop learning and growing. Our recent conversations this quarter have inspired us to continue researching burnout, building superior solutions, and developing new content to help you leverage scribe services.
Our Executive Vice President of Speke, Vadim Khazan, sat down for an interview with Co-Founder and Chief Editor of Healthcare IT Today, John Lynn to discuss how Speke works, what the future holds for AI solutions, and when and where human expertise is still critical when it comes to documentation.
About AI and scribe collaboration, Vadim said “We use AI in the background to create a rough draft of the note and then we have our trained scribe team edit the note…This is one of the things that we’re very good at, having human touchpoints at every interval of the process…I think that’s our biggest advantage. ScribeAmerica has the largest pool of scribes in the world, and we make sure that there’s a human at every step of the process, including customer support.“
We continue to develop new AI solutions that alleviate burnout, reduce documentation errors, and improve doctor/patient rapport. Don’t miss our new video that gives a crystal clear overview of how asynchronous AI scribing can better support your work.
We were excited to kick off the year in Orlando attending the 2024 Veterinary Meeting and Expo. Four days of conversation with talented and invested vet industry professionals yielded valuable takeaways (and some great dog pictures).
We’ve also been sitting down with some of our vet clients to hear more about their experiences. The hospital director of Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, Fred Cantor, said “We were dealing with inconsistencies with staffing, record quality, and record outcome. In the vet space, every doctor’s record looks different. The addition of ScribeAmerica’s services has made a big difference at our clinic…The service is very efficient for us.”
Our team also had the opportunity to talk with Veterinary Practice News to discuss how scribes can make a big difference for veterinary practices. Josh Noble, vice president of business development, discussed how remote scribes and Speke AI can help vets by moving with them. “It’s a lot [nimbler] with staffing, and there’s also a price difference, as remote scribes operate at a lower cost…They can still hear and see everything, but they are documenting from their own home vs. being chair-side.”
Finally, and most exciting, we announced the launch of our services in Canada. President Tony Andrulonis said about ScribeCanada, “As the market leader, we understand the challenges healthcare providers face regarding clinical documentation and non-clinical burdens. ScribeCanada is well positioned to provide flexible solutions to help healthcare professionals focus on what matters most – delivering quality care to their patients.”
